Maya (and nuke for that matter, the all-time compositing program) will never cease to astound me. So beautifully intricate. Everyday I learn something new and the joy that floods me when I finally figure out how the the bend deformer functions or how to apply a convincing eyeball texture or what NURBS are exactly can seem exaggerated but it’s authentic. Must not let it get to my head, still so much to learn.
Still can’t help feeling like a demiurge in the making though, like my 3D production teacher said once.
